NORTH AMERICA PAGEANTS
PRELIMINARY GUIDELINES
All Contestants for Preliminary Pageants must be at least 21 years of age prior to date of pageant. All contestants must be residents of any North America territories, to include US and European Caribbean Islands, Canada, Dominican Republic, or Jamaica. All contestants must show proper ID and proof of age before entering pageant. Any contestants outside of any North America territories must possess valid passport for proper entry into the domestic United States.
Prelim franchise annual administrative fee of $0.
Each Prelim have the option of choosing two representatives to send to Nationals the first year and pay the required $125 for each representative due up to registration day of national pageant. Prelim contestant will not be permitted to participate in competition until entry fees are paid.
All Prelim pageants should honor at least three (3) of the five (5) official categories of North America National Pageantry System, this is to ensure all contestants will be better prepared for all categories at the National Pageant.
Each preliminary system will be allowed to promote their schedule prelim pageant on our website and Facebook page.
Appearance fees are as follows:

Reigning Mr. & Miss North America appearance fee of $250 per titleholder

Prelim Promoter pays half of booking fee ($125) and North America will match remaining amount.

Reigning North America Supreme appearance fee of $200 per titleholder

Prelim Promoter pays half of booking fee ($100) and North America will match remaining amount.

North America Pageants will match remainder of National Titleholder booking fee to meet require booking fee for each Titleholder.
Appearance fee for any NAPS King or Queen should be paid directly to North America, at no time should appearance/booking fee be paid to NAPS King and/or Queen, this is to ensure that our King and Queen fees are submitted and accepted upon making an appearance.
National King and Queen appearance fees should be submitted to NAPS no later than two (2) hours before start of Prelim Pageant event. If for any reason the National King and/or Queen does not or cannot make an appearance, that titleholder’s respective appearance fee should be reimburse to the respective Prelim Owner/Promoter within one (1) business day after scheduled Prelim event.
Each Prelim System will be responsible for the entry fee of their Prelim King and/or Queen to appear at Nationals, this fee is not inclusive with the Annual franchise fee.
Entry fees:

$125 for each preliminary representative (King and Queen) and each two 1st alternate representatives

Fees can be made in installments to North America Pageants (up to 4 installments)

$75 for each additional contestant (up to two additional contestants, usually 2nd alternates)
In the event, any preliminary ends up with less than favorable number of contestants (i.e. one contestant register for respective division), prelim entry fee to nationals will remain the same in accordance to our guidelines.
Prelim application and/or entry fees for prelim contestants should not exceed more than $150 per contestant. Titles and Awards should not exceed more than $500 per winner and no less than $200 per winner. Give up fees should meet at least $150 per titleholder. Any additional sponsorship will be at the discretion of each preliminary promoter.
All Travel and Lodging accommodations for National King and/or Queen will be arranged and paid for by North America Pageantry System, while required percentage booking fee should be arranged and paid for by each franchise system.
All Prelim Systems are required to establish an acceptable place of venue to host respective Prelim Pageant. All Prelims will be observed by a NAPS representative and/or Prelim Coordinator.
All Prelims are required to abide by the same rules and guidelines governed by North America Pageantry Systems.
All Prelim Owners/Promoters are to keep a valid method of contact in case of any changes within the Pageantry System and will be responsible to forward all updates or changes of contact information to the Prelim Coordinator of each division.
